Another song about love and yearning!
This song has been composed as a preparation for the Burghausener Summer Jazz-Workshop 2025, where it also premiered in a different interpretation/style.
It’s an instrumental, but lyrics still exist. The lyrics where the starting point, even though I wouldn’t consider myself a “lyricist”.

Here they are:

I'm hoping it's you,
and when I start running,
I'm missing my shoes.
You hit me with a smile,
suddenly I fly so high,
though you catch me when I fall,
instead of losing, 
I'm winning it all.

When you say you must leave,
I'm okay, hope it will be brief,

oh I will wait for you.
All the things we could be,
obvious like the A-B-C,
will be true, no more blue,
when I waited for you.
